Lithium-ion technology (Lithium Iron-Phosphate), was developed jointly by HANGCHA and CATL for use in material handling equipment applications. These innovative and reliable battery cells and modules are manufactured to the highest standard by CATL exclusively for HANGCHA’s forklift line.

Efficiency
Hangcha Group’s lithium-ion forklifts take 2 hours to fully charge compared to charging a lead-acid battery truck for 8-10 hours and allowing it to cool down for another 8-10 hours.
High Energy Density
The lithium-ion battery packs found in our forklifts have DOUBLE the energy density of a lead-acid battery that has the same dimensions.
Battery Management System
The battery management system that Hangcha uses with the lithium-ion battery packs is designed to continually monitor the lithium-ion cells and other vital components.
Maintainance Free
Lithium-ion battery packs do not require the manual maintenance that lead-acid battery packs do.
Beneficial to the Environment
Lithium-ion batteries do not release harmful emissions into the environment, use acid, and have twice the service life when compared to lead-acid powered forklifts.
Cold Area Application
Thanks to an electrical heating element, the lithium-ion material handling equipment can run in cold applications.
Warranty/Long Life Cycle
Hangcha group offers a 10 year or 20,000 hour warranty on our A series 3-Wheel Lithium-ion Electric Forklift and our XC series Lithium-ion Electric Forklift. The XC series Lite-Duty Lithium-ion Electric Forklift gets a 5 year or 10,000 hour warranty on the battery packs.
